Our chosen blends for Matchwear

Pickleball is a game of movement—quick steps, fast swings, constant pivots. Your gear should keep up. That’s why we made polyester-spandex our standard fabric for performance wear.

Why this blend

  • Polyester is durable, breathable, and controls moisture.
  • Spandex adds stretch, flexibility, and shape retention.

Together, they create a fabric that’s:

  • Flexible in all directions (4-way stretch)
  • Moisture-wicking to keep skin dry
  • Quick-drying and breathable
  • Built to last through repeated play and washes
  • Comfortable and soft against the skin

The typical sportswear mix—95% polyester and 5% spandex—strikes the right balance between strength and mobility.

UPF - Sun protection

UPF stands for a special fabric that holds an ultraviolet protection factor and is the sun protective rating measure for fabrics. UPF 50+ means that only up to 1/50th or 2% of ultraviolet radiation is able to penetrate the fabric which has been tested. Care instructions

To ensure your Matchwear garment stays in good condition (hold shape, retain stretch and color) and, please follow our care advice. 

  • Machine wash on low temperature, gentle cycle with similar colors
  • Do not bleach or use harsh detergents
  • Lay flat to air dry to preserve shape, elasticity and prevent wrinkles
  • Do not iron
