A Letter from the Founder

"Dear visitor,

I discovered pickleball a while back, when living in Asia. What struck me right away was how fun it is to learn, how social the game felt, and how playful yet intense it is. It really is more than just a sport  — it was a way to connect with people and enjoy movement in a lighthearted, energetic way.

When I returned to Switzerland, I wanted to carry that feeling with me. That’s how Matchwear was born, right here at my creative nest Studio Baidenmann in the Zürich area.

My idea was simple: to design sportswear that feel good to wear, perform well on the court, and reflect the approachable, joyful spirit of pickleball.

Matchwear isn’t about trends or over complication — it’s about making something honest, practical, and fun for people who love Pickleball.
